Axens Company belongs to the French Petroleum Institute IFP (Institut Francais du Petrole), which started its activities in 2001 and has been pursuing its activities in Iran through the representative office of Simaqand Company since then.
This French company is a leader in the oil and gas industry, offering a full range of products and solutions, including technology, equipment, and process modules necessary to convert crude oil and biomass into clean fuels, feedstock for petrochemical complexes, and final products. This company is also able to provide gas sweetening services and conversion processes.
In 2018, Axens Company succeeded in purchasing 100% of the shares of Heurtey Petrochem Company, and since the beginning of 2019, all activities related to the Heurtey Petrochem Group and Prosernat Company, including the manufacture of Heurtey Petrochem process modules, furnaces, and burners, have continued to operate under the Axens brand.
In addition to the above, Axens Company is also one of the major producers of catalysts and absorbents for the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries.
In other words, Axens is able to provide a complete chain of services including: Studies, preliminary feasibility studies, and project management to provide pre-commissioning and commissioning services for complexes, as well as updating and upgrading existing units.
In recent years, and given the global water crisis, Axens Company has also been working in the field of optimizing water consumption and new energies, relying on its complete understanding of refinery and industrial processes.
