After the establishment of Simaqand Company in 1974, the Steel Department was formed in 1981 and began its activities by providing services to the country’s steel industry. This department has a long history of cooperation with steel factories such as Mobarakeh Steel, Hormozgan Steel, Saba Steel, Khuzestan Steel, Iran Alloy Steel, Sirjan Iranian Steel, Kaveh South Steel, Yazd Steel, Khorasan Steel, Bonab Steel, Natanz Steel, Esfarayen Industrial Complex, Iran Alloy Steel, Defense Industries Organization, Caspian Steel, and…
Simaqand Steel Department has provided extensive services to this industry by representing reputable Asian and European companies such as HEG India, NCO Italy, Kuettner Germany, HUDE Germany, and Donly China.
Supplying graphite electrodes in various sizes for electric arc furnaces for more than 25 years from HEG India, designing, manufacturing and supplying spare parts for rolling lines from NCO Italy, designing processes and manufacturing equipment required for steelmaking, desulfurization and energy recovery in cooperation with Kuetner Germany, designing and implementing coke making projects and various cranes with HUDE, and supplying electric motors and mechanical transmission equipment including gearboxes and couplings from Donly China have been part of the activities of the Steel Department. It should be noted that Flender Germany supplied equipment and parts required by Iranian customers through the Simaqand Steel Department for about 25 years (before it was purchased by Siemens Germany).
